By this point, Sarah and I had listened to eleven of the 43 songs that will compete in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The night was young, and we still had thirty-two more to listen through. So far, my favourite was Ira for Malta, What's The Pressure was the front-runner for Sarah, and Cyprus was a solid second place for the pair of us. We were alternating picking songs from the bowl. Sarah had picked the first one, so it was me to select song number 12 for the evening.

Eurovision 2016: Song Reviews (Part I)
Okay, so in recent years I have become somewhat of a Eurovision enthusiast. So much so, that earlier this month Sarah and I acquired tickets to this year's Grand Final. It's going to be an incredible weekend, and I'm sure the atmosphere will be absolutely electric. Once the tickets, flights and hotel were all booked, it was then a case of what songs we would be hearing there.

A reintroduction
It's safe to say that I have failed miserably at starting up and maintaining a blog. I really enjoy writing, but soon after I began this blog, I started my PhD and that took up a big portion of my time, and required me to write quite a lot. It was a relief to come home and stay away from the keyboard, and so I ended up neglecting this blog.
